Amseco Exploration ( (TSE:CAN) ) has shared an announcement.

Canadian Gold Resources reported initial assay results from its maiden diamond drill program at the Lac Arsenault Project in Québec, with the first hole intersecting 19.5 g/t gold over 1.0 metre in the Baker Vein and an additional 1.9 g/t gold over 1.0 metre in nearby metasedimentary sandstone. The program is systematically testing beneath planned bulk sample areas to confirm historic drilling, demonstrate vertical continuity of high-grade mineralization, refine the structural model of the Baker and Mersereau veins, and support future resource modeling, positioning the project for potential advancement pending further assays.

Drilling is being conducted using a fan pattern and HQ core, with samples analyzed by accredited third-party lab Activation Laboratories under a rigorous QA/QC regime, adding credibility to the early high-grade results and historic resource potential on the property. Management says these initial intercepts validate the high-grade nature of the Baker Vein system and provide a strong foundation for updating and potentially expanding upon historical, non-NI 43-101 compliant resource estimates at Lac Arsenault, an outcome that could enhance the project’s attractiveness to investors and strategic partners if sustained by upcoming results.
