The latest update is out from Amseco Exploration ( (TSE:CAN) ).
Canadian Gold Resources reported initial diamond drilling results from its Lac Arsenault Project in Québec, confirming that all ten holes intersected the Baker vein and returned significant gold and silver grades over narrow intervals. The drilling, arranged in three fan configurations along strike and at depth beneath a planned bulk sample area, was aimed at defining the steeply dipping vein’s geometry and supports the interpretation of a nuggety epithermal-style system.
Management said the results advance geological understanding of the Baker vein and will be incorporated into an updated model to guide further exploration and development decisions at Lac Arsenault. The completion of this drill campaign, alongside ongoing permitting for a maiden drill program at the nearby Robidoux Project, underlines the company’s efforts to de-risk its Québec portfolio and could influence the pace and scale of future work programs for stakeholders.
