Canadian Copper, Inc. (TSE:CCI) has released an update.
Canadian Copper Inc. has finalized the acquisition of the Murray Brook mining lease in New Brunswick, a significant open pit resource grading 1.41% CuEq, set to bolster the supply of strategic metals amid a favorable commodities market. The Murray Brook Project is not only large, with over 21 million tonnes, but it is also strategically located near existing infrastructure, which is anticipated to extend the operating life of the nearby Caribou Mine. Over the past year, Canadian Copper has been actively advancing the project with milestones that include the full acquisition of the deposit, an oversubscribed private placement, and a new resource estimate that improved the project’s metrics.
