Ascot Resources ( (TSE:CAMB) ) has provided an announcement.

Cambria Gold Mines has launched a 27,000-metre infill diamond drilling program at its Premier Gold Project in northwestern British Columbia, aiming to upgrade resource confidence and refine mine planning as it works toward restarting operations. Initial drilling is underway at the Premier-Northern Lights deposit near the existing mill, with underground work on the Prew Zone to follow and further drilling at the Big Missouri deposit planned for the spring.

The company is also reviewing delayed assay results from its 2024 and 2025 drilling campaigns, which will feed into an updated feasibility study expected in the second half of 2026. In parallel, Cambria is overhauling its quality assurance and quality control procedures, including larger sample splits, increased fire assay charge weights and more rigorous duplicate sampling, seeking to improve geological confidence and reduce operational risk after prior issues linked to inadequate drill spacing and sampling practices.

The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:CAMB) stock is a Hold with a C$1.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Ascot Resources stock, see the TSE:CAMB Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on TSE:CAMB Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, TSE:CAMB is a Neutral.

The score is constrained primarily by very weak financial performance, including collapsing revenue, large losses, and continued negative operating/free cash flow. Technicals provide partial support due to positive momentum and price strength versus moving averages, but overbought signals increase downside risk. Valuation is also pressured because the company is loss-making and there is no dividend yield provided.
