Cambi ASA ( (DE:3W7) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Cambi ASA has signed a small-value lease contract, estimated at the lower end of NOK 15–50 million, to supply a compact thermal hydrolysis process unit to the Oxford sewage treatment works, operated by Thames Water. The one-year lease, with options for two one-year extensions, will increase local sludge treatment capacity by more than 50%, allowing Thames Water to treat all solids on site rather than transporting them elsewhere, and includes annual maintenance plus installation and commissioning supervision ahead of an expected 2026 start-up. The deal deepens Cambi’s three-decade relationship with the UK’s largest water and wastewater utility, reinforces the company’s flexible leasing-based delivery model for meeting urgent capacity needs, and further embeds its THP technology in the UK market, where Thames Water already runs Cambi systems at seven locations.
