Calix Ltd’s subsidiary Leilac is advancing its Direct Air Capture (DAC) projects through a partnership with Heirloom, aiming to remove significant CO2 from the atmosphere. Two new facilities in Shreveport, Louisiana, supported by both the U.S. Department of Energy and state incentives, are expected to commence operations in 2026 and 2027. The collaboration, leveraging Leilac’s technology, is poised to bolster economic activity, job creation, and position Louisiana as a frontrunner in the new energy economy.
