Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (ES:CAF) has released an update.
Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) has recently secured significant contracts in Italy, including a framework contract for 60 trams with the municipality of Bologna and an extended agreement for additional trams with Rome’s ATAC S.p.A., totaling approximately 200 million euros. The Bologna contract includes an initial order of 33 Urbos trams with an option to expand, while Rome has exercised an option to extend an existing contract with the supply of 20 additional trams, both equipped with CAF’s energy efficient OESS technology. These deals further CAF’s influence in Italy’s sustainable urban mobility sector and align with the country’s broader efforts to enhance eco-friendly transportation in its cities.
