Cabral Gold ( (TSE:CBR) ) just unveiled an update.

Cabral Gold reported results from 24 shallow reverse circulation infill holes at the MG starter pit in the Cuiú Cuiú Gold District, Brazil. The drilling, part of a 68-hole program, targets gold-in-oxide material and is designed to improve grade confidence and upgrade reserves ahead of planned production.

Notable intercepts include broad, near-surface mineralized zones such as 48m at 1.35 g/t gold and 50m at 1.35 g/t gold, confirming a significant near-surface resource amenable to heap leach processing. The data will underpin an updated mine plan and revised gold-in-oxide reserve estimate for MG, supporting greater operational certainty during the initial year of mining scheduled to start in late 2026.

Drilling on a 25 x 25m pattern, with tighter 12.5 x 12.5m spacing in higher-grade areas, also identified narrower high-grade intervals to be stockpiled for later processing. These results validate the pre-existing drilling and Year 1 pit outline, reinforcing Cabral Gold’s development strategy and potentially strengthening its position as it transitions from explorer to producer at Cuiú Cuiú.

The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:CBR) stock is a Hold with a C$0.98 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Cabral Gold stock, see the TSE:CBR Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on CBR Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, CBR is a Neutral.

The score is held down primarily by weak financial performance (no revenue, recurring losses, and ongoing cash burn with rising 2025 outflows), partially offset by a low-debt balance sheet. Technicals are moderately supportive with price above key longer-term moving averages and a positive MACD, while valuation remains difficult to assess given the negative P/E and lack of dividend data.
