BYD Co ( (HK:1211) ) has provided an announcement.
BYD Company Limited has proposed a final ordinary dividend of RMB 0.358 per share for the financial year ended 31 December 2025, payable on 9 August 2026 upon shareholder approval in June 2026. The dividend for Hong Kong-registered shares will be paid in HKD by default, with an option for shareholders to elect RMB, while key dates such as the ex-dividend and record dates, as well as the HKD amount and exchange rate, will be announced later.
The company detailed its withholding tax arrangements, confirming a 10% PRC enterprise income tax on dividends for non-resident enterprise H-shareholders and a 20% individual income tax for domestic investors receiving H-share dividends via Southbound Trading, while individual foreign H-shareholders will be temporarily exempt from PRC individual income tax. These measures underscore the company’s compliance with cross-border tax rules and clarify post-tax returns for different investor categories, which is particularly important for institutional and Southbound investors managing after-tax yield expectations.
The most recent analyst rating on (HK:1211) stock is a Buy with a HK$130.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on BYD Co stock, see the HK:1211 Stock Forecast page.
