BW Energy Ltd. ( (DE:6BW) ) just unveiled an update.
BW Energy reported preliminary first-quarter 2026 net production of 2.3 million barrels of oil, or 25.2 thousand barrels per day, from its Dussafu field in Gabon and Golfinho field in Brazil, unchanged from the prior quarter but below year-earlier levels. A successful March workover to replace an electrical submersible pump at Dussafu addressed production constraints, while higher realised prices of USD 79 per barrel and increased sales volumes, alongside still-elevated but moderating costs at Golfinho, suggest firmer cash generation ahead of full quarterly results and a strategy update due on 20 May.
