Burcon Elects New Board and Approves Auditor

Burcon Nutrascience (TSE:BU) has released an update.

Burcon NutraScience Corporation, a leader in plant-based protein development, has successfully elected its board of directors proposed by management during its 2024 annual general and special meeting of shareholders. Shareholders also approved the appointment of KPMG LLP as auditors and authorized share consolidation at the board’s discretion. Furthermore, the company welcomed Mr. James Pekar, a seasoned food industry expert, as a new director while expressing gratitude towards Dr. Lorne Tyrrell, who retired from the board.
