Bulletin Resources Limited ( (AU:BNR) ) has shared an update.
Bulletin Resources has reported initial aircore drilling results from its Chifley Gold Project, where 11 holes totalling 797 metres were completed over a 1km by 1km soil gold anomaly in a favourable structural position along the Claypan Fault. Although most holes were stopped in thick transported cover, limited basement penetration and composite assays revealed weakly enriched gold values, up to 71 parts per billion, within lateritic and saprolitic lake sequence clays that may be derived from concealed basement mineralisation.
The company plans further drilling using a rig capable of fully penetrating the transported sequence to directly test the underlying basement for gold mineralisation. Management believes the observed gold enrichment in the lake sediments could serve as a vector toward hidden higher-grade zones, potentially opening a new exploration front at Chifley and enhancing the project’s prospectivity for shareholders if deeper drilling confirms significant mineralisation.
