BTQ Technologies Inc. has announced a multi-year R&D sponsorship with the Cybersecurity and Privacy Institute at the University of Waterloo, aiming to strengthen its post-quantum cybersecurity capabilities. The partnership will allow BTQ to tackle real-world challenges alongside other industry giants like Mastercard and Amazon Web Services. This collaboration follows CPI’s recent funding achievement of over $3.3 million from the National Cybersecurity Consortium, solidifying its role in advancing cybersecurity and privacy research.
