BTQ Technologies has secured up to C$435,000 in grants from the Mitacs Accelerate program to bolster their IP portfolio and hasten the commercialization of their quantum-resistant cryptographic technology. Collaborating with the University of Waterloo, the project aims to enhance the efficiency and market readiness of Preon, a post-quantum digital signature scheme. This initiative aligns with global efforts to transition to quantum-resistant cryptography ahead of the technological advancements in quantum computing.
