Brookfield Renewable Corporation has entered into an Arrangement Agreement with multiple entities including Brookfield Renewable Partners L.P. and a new corporation, with the aim of restructuring to qualify as a ‘mutual fund corporation’ under the Tax Act. The unanimous decision by the Board, supported by a fairness opinion, deems the arrangement to be in the best interests of the company and its stakeholders.
