Brookfield Renewable has announced the issuance of C$400 million worth of green bonds, with the intent to fund environmentally beneficial investments. The offering includes two series of medium-term notes with varying interest rates and maturities, backed by a strong BBB+ rating from multiple agencies. Proceeds from the green bonds will be allocated to projects that meet the criteria outlined in their Green Financing Framework.
