Brazilian Rare Earths Ltd. ( (AU:BRE) ) has issued an update.
Brazilian Rare Earths has validated a low-temperature sulfuric acid curing process operating at 150°C that delivers very high extraction rates, including 97% recovery for total rare earth oxides and uranium. The optimisation work, conducted at Brazilian research institute CDTN and scaled up to a 15 kg blended composite, confirms that high recoveries can be achieved using standard low-temperature equipment rather than energy-intensive high-temperature kilns.
When combined with previously reported ore-sorting recoveries above 95%, the company estimates total mineral-to-product yields of about 91% for total rare earth oxides and 89% for uranium, supporting a potentially lower-cost, high-yield flowsheet. Management says the process underpins a simplified, scalable hub-and-spoke production model, enabling multiple high-grade feedstocks from the Rocha da Rocha province to be integrated into the planned Camaçari processing hub, which could enhance operational efficiency and project economics for stakeholders.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:BRE) stock is a Buy with a A$7.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Brazilian Rare Earths Ltd. stock, see the AU:BRE Stock Forecast page.
