Brasnova Energy Materials Inc. has appointed Brazilian executive and entrepreneur Joel Ferari as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, with an accompanying board seat to follow pending TSX Venture Exchange approval. Ferari brings decades of experience in startups and industrial process plant development in Brazil, including overseeing plant construction, supplier negotiations and team building, positioning Brasnova to strengthen its operational execution in its core Brazilian market. As part of his incentive package, the company will grant Ferari 500,000 stock options at $0.15 per share for five years, subject to shareholder approval of the stock option plan, while outgoing CEO and director Brian Leeners is stepping down after many years of service, marking a significant leadership transition for the company.
