Braemar Hotels & Resorts ( (BHR) ) has issued an update.

As of December 31, 2025, Braemar Hotels & Resorts obtained an independent opinion from Robert A. Stanger & Co. on the liquidation value of its non-traded Series E and Series M Redeemable Preferred Stock. Stanger concluded that each series had an estimated liquidation value of $25.00 per share, matching their stated liquidation preference, using market capitalization, analyst target prices, direct capitalization of net operating income, and third-party appraisals, all of which indicated adequate coverage of the company’s total preferred liquidation preference.

The company noted that these estimates are not GAAP fair values, are unaudited, and depend on assumptions that could yield materially different results if changed. Braemar also highlighted that no adjustments were made for events after December 31, 2025 and that the heavy concentration of its assets in real estate means shifts in individual property values or valuation assumptions could significantly affect the preferred stocks’ liquidation values.

The most recent analyst rating on (BHR) stock is a Hold with a $2.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Braemar Hotels & Resorts stock, see the BHR Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on BHR Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, BHR is a Neutral.

The score is held down primarily by weak financial performance (deteriorating profitability and high/worsening leverage) and bearish technicals (below key moving averages with negative MACD). These are partially offset by a high dividend yield and an earnings-call backdrop showing improving operating metrics and some deleveraging progress, though ongoing losses, floating-rate exposure, and sale-process/dividend-policy uncertainty remain key risks.
