BQE Water ( (TSE:BQE) ) has issued an announcement.
BQE Water has signed a new contract with the court-appointed receiver of Victoria Gold to operate water treatment at the Eagle Gold Mine in Yukon through the first half of 2026, maintaining the same scope of services as in 2025. The work targets management of contaminated water volumes during and after the spring freshet using the treatment system installed in 2024, with effluent quality monitored via key performance indicators proven in last year’s operations.
The company will again partner with Na-Cho Nyäk Dun Development Corporation and Big River Operations, a First Nation-owned business, deepening technical collaboration and training to build local water treatment capacity on the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun’s traditional territory. The contract follows BQE Water’s emergency response to the 2024 cyanide heap leach failure, where it engineered and operated an interim system that safely discharged over 1 million cubic meters of treated water, and it underpins BQE’s role in designing a new long-term treatment solution for the site due in early 2026.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:BQE) stock is a Buy with a C$90.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on BQE Water stock, see the TSE:BQE Stock Forecast page.
