The latest update is out from BP Prudhoe Bay ( (BPT) ).
On June 17, 2025, BP Prudhoe Bay Royalty Trust announced the commencement of a sale process for its assets following the termination of the Trust on December 31, 2024. Hilcorp North Slope, LLC declined its option to purchase the assets, prompting the Trustee to engage RedOaks Energy Advisors, LLC to assist with the sale. The sale process includes soliciting initial bids by July 29, 2025, although there is uncertainty regarding potential bidders and the proceeds from the sale.
