Bowleven Announces Delisting and Shareholder Exit Plan

Bowleven (GB:BLVN) has released an update.

Bowleven plc, an oil and gas company with interests in Cameroon, has announced plans to delist from AIM, convert to a private limited company, and adopt new articles of association, subject to shareholder approval. In conjunction, Crown Ocean Capital is offering minority shareholders an exit opportunity to sell their shares at a premium to recent average prices. The company cites high costs and regulatory burdens of public listing, challenges in raising public equity, and a desire for increased corporate flexibility as reasons for the move.
