Borealis Mining Company Limited ( (TSE:BOGO) ) has issued an update.
Borealis Mining has released an updated preliminary economic assessment for its Sandman Gold project in Nevada, showing significantly improved economics compared with a 2023 study while maintaining the same mineral resource, mine plan and processing framework. The new PEA envisions a nine-year, open-pit heap-leach mine producing about 38,000 ounces of gold annually, for total life-of-mine output of roughly 340,000 ounces at a low strip ratio and with rapid capital payback.
Using a higher base gold price assumption of US$2,600 per ounce, the study outlines a post-tax NPV at a 6% discount rate of about US$203 million, an internal rate of return of roughly 105% and a payback period of approximately 1.1 years from first production. Initial capital is estimated at about US$36 million, with total life-of-mine capital of roughly US$57 million and all-in sustaining costs near US$1,823 per ounce, highlighting strong stand-alone economics and substantial leverage to gold prices within Borealis’ Nevada-focused portfolio.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:BOGO) stock is a Buy with a C$2.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Borealis Mining Company Limited stock, see the TSE:BOGO Stock Forecast page.
