BonTerra Resources ( (TSE:BTR) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Bonterra Resources has reported updated mineral resource estimates for its Barry and Gladiator gold deposits in Quebec, showing substantial growth in both measured and indicated, as well as inferred resources. The new estimates, prepared under NI 43-101 by P&E Mining Consultants, reflect expanded drilling, revised geological modelling and higher assumed long-term gold prices.
Combined, Barry and Gladiator now host 1.401 million ounces of measured and indicated resources at an average grade of 2.90 g/t gold and 2.033 million ounces of inferred resources at 4.32 g/t gold, representing increases of 30% and 21%, respectively, over 2021 estimates. Management highlighted that both deposits remain open at depth and along plunge, with ongoing drilling and updated mining parameters, such as wider minimum mining widths and stope-constrained underground resources, enhancing project quality and aligning the assets more closely with industry standards, potentially improving their development appeal.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:BTR) stock is a Hold with a C$0.18 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on BonTerra Resources stock, see the TSE:BTR Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on TSE:BTR Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, TSE:BTR is a Neutral.
The score is held back primarily by weak financial performance—no revenue, ongoing net losses, and persistent cash burn that likely requires continued financing—despite low leverage. Technicals are modestly supportive in the near term but still below longer-term trend measures, while valuation is constrained by negative earnings and no dividend. A positive corporate event (Hewfran Zone extension near existing infrastructure) improves the outlook but does not offset the current financial risk profile.
