BOKU ( (GB:BOKU) ) has provided an update.
Boku Inc., listed on London’s AIM market, runs a global network for local payment methods, giving merchants unified access to carrier billing, digital wallets and real-time bank payment schemes. Serving some of the world’s largest tech, media and entertainment firms, it supports user acquisition, fraud prevention and cross-border settlement via a single integration.
The company’s board has authorised a share buyback programme of up to four million shares, around five per cent of its common stock, to be held in treasury. Management says the current valuation undervalues the business and views the buyback, funded from growing cash balances, as both an investment and a way to limit future shareholder dilution from warrants and staff equity awards.
Investec Bank has been mandated to execute the buybacks within preset pricing limits tied to recent market prices and trading venue quotes. The programme runs from 17 March 2026 to 30 September 2026, and, given limited stock liquidity, purchases may represent a large share of daily trading volume on AIM, meaning Boku will not benefit from certain market abuse regulation exemptions.
Once the current authorisation is exhausted or expires, the board plans to review market conditions before deciding on any further buyback activity. The move underscores management’s confidence in Boku’s long-term growth strategy and could support the share price while providing flexibility to meet future equity-related obligations.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:BOKU) stock is a Buy with a £334.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on BOKU stock, see the GB:BOKU Stock Forecast page.
