Bok Financial ( (BOKF) ) has issued an update.

BOK Financial reported first-quarter 2026 net income of $155.8 million, or $2.58 per diluted share, down from $177.3 million in the prior quarter, as net interest income slipped to $342.6 million and net interest margin narrowed to 2.90%. Fee and commission revenue declined to $209.8 million on softer investment banking activity, but management emphasized that fee-based businesses remained resilient.

Operating expenses fell to $354.2 million, with notable reductions in both personnel and non-personnel costs as the bank reiterated its focus on core cost control. Period-end loans grew by $536 million to $26.2 billion with broad-based growth, while nonperforming assets dropped to 0.23% of loans and repossessed assets, deposits declined to $38.7 billion and capital ratios stayed strong, leaving the CEO to characterize the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as a solid start to the year positioning the bank for further growth.
