BOC Hong Kong (Holdings) Limited has announced its intention to appoint EY as its auditor for the financial year 2024, pending shareholder approval at an upcoming extraordinary general meeting (EGM). The audit committee has endorsed EY’s appointment, considering them fully qualified and competent, and the board believes this move aligns with the best interest of the company and its shareholders. Prior to this, PricewaterhouseCoopers conducted the 2024 interim financial report review and confirmed no issues regarding the change in auditors.
