BMTC Group Inc. has expanded its property portfolio with the acquisition of the RONA distribution center in Terrebonne for $96 million, intending to secure long-term rental income through a lease-back agreement. The cash purchase follows the profitable sale of their Montreal distribution center, which contributed significantly to the company’s earnings. BMTC Group, a prominent furniture and appliance retailer in Quebec, is exploring potential automation upgrades to enhance the distribution center’s lease value.
