Blue Owl Capital Inc. has announced its strategic acquisition of IPI Partners, LLC, aiming to integrate IPI’s $10.5 billion in managed digital infrastructure assets and expertise with its own operations. This roughly $1 billion transaction, expected to close between late 2024 and early 2025, will significantly enhance Blue Owl’s digital infrastructure strategy and is projected to be earnings-neutral in 2025 and accretive in 2026. The deal, which includes both equity and cash consideration, cements a partnership with ICONIQ Capital to bolster future growth.
