The latest announcement is out from Blaze Minerals ( (AU:BLZ) ).
Blaze Minerals has reported further encouraging exploration results from the newly named Krokodil Prospect, a copper-in-soil anomaly on licence PL046 within its Dinokwe Base Metals Project in Botswana. Rock-chip sampling over a 1,000 by 100 metre zone returned significant handheld XRF readings for copper, lead and zinc, indicating a polymetallic system associated with an interpreted fault zone and related structures.
The company plans an extensive trenching programme across the anomaly to pinpoint in-situ mineralisation and any parallel structures before designing a potential drilling campaign. These steps mark a progression from early-stage geochemical discovery towards more advanced exploration, potentially enhancing Blaze’s position in a belt that already hosts major deposits and supporting the project’s strategic significance for stakeholders.
