Blackstone Real Estate has completed the acquisition of Tricon Residential Inc. for $3.5 billion, with the common shares set to be de-listed from the NYSE and TSX. The deal includes a significant investment to enhance Tricon’s housing platforms in both the U.S. and Canada. Shareholders, excluding BREIT which retains an 11.6% stake, received $11.25 per common share in cash.
