BKI Reports Decreased Profits, Increases Dividend

BKI Investment Co. Ltd. (AU:BKI) has released an update.

BKI Investment Co. Ltd. has announced its FY2024 results, reporting a 6% decrease in operating profit before tax to $65.9 million and an 8% drop in net profit after tax to $64.4 million, while still managing to increase its full year ordinary dividends by 2%. Despite challenging economic conditions marked by higher business costs, interest rates, and inflation, the company has seen an 11.9% return from the Australian equity market. BKI remains optimistic about long-term investments, particularly in the Resources and Energy sectors, despite a decline in dividends from some major holdings.
