Bitfarms Ltd. announced the completion of the sale of its 200 MW data center in Yguazu, Paraguay, to HIVE Digital Technologies, Ltd. on March 18, 2025. This strategic move is part of Bitfarms’ efforts to streamline operations and shift focus towards North America, with plans to reinvest the proceeds into U.S. growth opportunities. The sale is expected to reduce capital expenditure requirements and lower power costs, aligning with Bitfarms’ strategy to diversify beyond Bitcoin mining and expand into high-performance computing and AI infrastructure.
