Birchtree Investments Ltd. has finalized its acquisition of a significant stake in Valkyrie Specialty Corporation, a Texas-based oil and gas service provider specializing in well remediation. With the investment, Birchtree now controls 30.6% of Valkyrie’s parent company and has the right to appoint a director. The deal involved Birchtree investing C$499,500 and issuing 5 million of its own shares to Valkyrie Holdco.
