Biome Technologies PLC has surpassed its initial fundraising target of £80,000 with its Retail Offer, ultimately raising £160,000 due to strong shareholder demand, resulting in the issuance of 3.2 million new shares. The company had to scale back applications to adhere to the new total, with its Non-Executive Chairman, John Standen, and spouse participating in the offer. Set upon shareholder approval, the new shares are expected to be admitted to trading, with Biome’s total issued share capital to be updated post-General Meeting.
