BFF Bank S.p.A. reported 2025 adjusted net profit of €151.7m, up 6% year on year, translating into an adjusted return on equity of about 23%, while the statutory net result fell to €70.2m due to sizeable non-recurring charges. The bank maintained a stable €5.8bn loan portfolio and grew annual volumes to €8.9bn, supported by a 15% rise in deposits from transaction services and a loans-to-deposits ratio of 75%, underpinned by a €95m positive mark-to-market on its floating-rate government securities.
The group’s asset quality remained strong, with net non-performing loans at 0.2% of loans excluding distressed Italian municipalities and past-due receivables declining 7% to €1.6bn, while so-called infectious invoices dropped €75m to €269m. Capital strength improved, with a CET1 ratio of 14.1% and total capital ratio of 17.3%, as management launched de-risking of the factoring portfolio and actions to enhance the predictability of profitability ahead of a new strategic plan to be unveiled later in 2026.
