Berkeley Energia Seeks Arbitration, Maintains Strong Finances

Berkeley Energia Limited (AU:BKY) has released an update.

Berkeley Energia Limited has initiated a US$1 billion international arbitration against Spain, alleging multiple breaches of the Energy Charter Treaty related to its Salamanca project, while remaining open to amicable discussions. Despite the dispute, the company reported a strong financial position with A$77 million in cash and no debt, amidst a global nuclear power and uranium market showing signs of strength, including developments in the US, Canada, EU, and other nations moving towards nuclear energy.
