Berkeley Energia Advances Amid Arbitration and Strong Finances

Berkeley Energia Limited (GB:BKY) has released an update.

Berkeley Energia Limited, in its March 2024 quarterly report, disclosed its move to international arbitration against Spain over investment disputes related to its Salamanca project, while expressing a continued commitment to the project and openness to dialogue. The company reported a strong financial position with A$78 million in cash reserves and no debt, amidst a backdrop of fluctuating uranium prices and a positive outlook for the nuclear power sector. Berkeley is also progressing with an exploration program focused on battery and critical metals within Spain, alongside finalizing a study for a solar power system to reduce carbon emissions and operating costs for the Salamanca project.
