Benitec Biopharma Welcomes Kishan Mehta to Its Board

Benitec Biopharma (BNTC) has issued an update.

Benitec Biopharma Inc. has enhanced its Board of Directors by appointing Kishan Mehta as a new independent member, effective June 26, 2024. Mehta will serve until the 2026 annual meeting and join the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. His appointment follows the guidelines of a Board Designation Agreement with Suvretta Capital Management, LLC. Mehta’s financial dealings with the company have been transparent, with no material interests disclosed that would necessitate further declaration. He will receive the standard compensation and indemnification accorded to non-employee directors of the company.
