Academy Metals ( (TSE:BFM) ) has shared an update.
Bedford Metals Corp. has closed a non-brokered private placement, issuing 5,000,000 flow-through common shares at $0.20 each for gross proceeds of $1,000,000. The company also issued 500,000 shares as a finder’s fee to an arm’s-length party, with all securities subject to resale restrictions until mid-August 2026.
Proceeds will be directed to continued exploration and development work at Bedford’s Ubiquity Lake and Sheppard Lake Uranium Projects. The financing strengthens the company’s funding position for advancing its uranium assets, which may support its longer-term growth prospects in the Canadian uranium exploration market.
