An announcement from Beach Energy ( (AU:BPT) ) is now available.
Beach Energy reported a 7% quarterly increase in production to 4.8 million barrels of oil equivalent, driven largely by ramp-up at the Waitsia Gas Plant, which has reached 94% of nameplate capacity. Overall sales volumes fell 10% to 5.3 MMboe and revenue slipped 6% to $419 million, reflecting lower customer gas nominations and weather disruptions in the Cooper and Western Flank basins, even as realised oil prices rose 19%.
The company strengthened its balance sheet, lifting available liquidity to $974 million and cutting net gearing to 11%, aided by a profitable LNG cargo and robust oil pricing. Beach also secured new acreage in Queensland’s Taroom Trough and Cooper Basin and in the onshore Otway, advanced drilling campaigns with high success rates, and approved the Moomba Central Optimisation project, which is expected to debottleneck infrastructure and reinforce its role as a structural supplier of East Coast gas, prompting a modest revision to FY26 production guidance while keeping capital plans unchanged.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:BPT) stock is a Sell with a A$1.10 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Beach Energy stock, see the AU:BPT Stock Forecast page.
