An update from BCM Resources ( (TSE:B) ) is now available.
BCM Resources has contracted National EWP of Nevada and TonaTec Exploration of Utah to execute its fully funded 2026 drilling campaign at the 100%-controlled Thompson Knolls porphyry-skarn copper, silver, gold and molybdenum discovery. Building on prior drilling that indicated a promising mineralized intercept and a vector suggesting stronger mineralization to the southwest of hole TK8, the company aims to test this target area using a combination of reverse circulation and diamond drilling rigs to improve productivity and reduce costs.
The program will use a Schramm Epiroc 685 reverse circulation rig to drill through fanglomerate cover to bedrock, followed by an AtlasCopco Christensen CS4002 diamond drill to core to greater depths. By optimizing drilling methods and focusing on the interpreted higher-grade zone, BCM seeks to advance delineation of the Thompson Knolls system, potentially enhancing the project’s resource potential and strengthening the company’s position in North American copper and precious metals exploration.
