BCM Resources ( (TSE:B) ) has issued an announcement.
BCM Resources has begun diamond core tail drilling at its 100% controlled Thompson Knolls porphyry-skarn project in Utah, extending reverse circulation pre-collar hole TK15 from 2,030 feet toward a planned depth of up to 5,250 feet. A second pre-collar, TK16, has also been initiated as part of the company’s fully funded 2026 drill campaign led by National EWP and TonaTec Exploration.
The new drilling is designed to follow up a 2023 skarn-hosted intercept in hole TK8 and test a southwest-trending vector toward potentially stronger mineralization identified through analysis by the Colorado School of Mines’ CASERM program. By systematically drilling a fan of closely spaced vertical holes beneath the valley floor, BCM aims to define the scale and continuity of the Thompson Knolls system, which shares geologic characteristics with major regional porphyry-skarn deposits such as Robinson and Bingham Canyon, potentially elevating the project’s strategic significance if results are positive.
