Bass Oil Ltd (ASX:BAS) is set to commence the Extended Production Test (EPT) at the Kiwi-1 wellsite, following the mobilization of the Wild Desert Rig 10 and recent road repairs. The completion of the well for production is expected to take about 7 days with the EPT to immediately follow, aiming to confirm the well’s production profile and assess its gas and fluid composition. The successful testing of Kiwi-1 could significantly boost the company’s gas reserve estimates at a time of high demand and pricing in the Eastern Gas Market.
