BASF Secures Long-Term Biomethane Supply from ENGIE

Engie SA (FR:ENGI) has released an update.

BASF and ENGie have entered into a seven-year Biomethane Purchase Agreement, where ENGIE will supply BASF with up to 2.9 terawatt hours of biomethane, aiding BASF’s sustainability efforts by reducing its carbon footprint. The agreement supports BASF’s transition to a circular economy, enabling them to offer customers a range of products with lower or zero Product Carbon Footprints across various industries.
