Base Resources Limited has received approval from the Malagasy Competition Council for its proposed merger with Energy Fuels Inc., satisfying a key regulatory condition for the deal. With no more regulatory hurdles, the merger awaits approval from Base Resources’ shareholders and the Federal Court of Australia. The shareholder meeting to vote on the scheme is scheduled for September 5, 2024.
