Barratt Developments PLC has successfully obtained clearance from the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) for its all-share acquisition of Redrow plc, avoiding a phase 2 investigation. This approval allows Barratt to proceed with integrating Redrow into its operations, aiming to complete this process within 18 months and achieve full synergy within three years. CEO David Thomas highlights the creation of an exceptional housebuilder focused on quality, service, sustainability, and delivering value to stakeholders.
