Baronsmead Venture Trust has repurchased 9,070,821 of its own ordinary shares at 50.69 pence per share and will hold the stock in treasury, signalling active capital management and potential support for its share price. Following this transaction, the trust now has 490,280,515 ordinary shares in issue, of which 62,612,492 are held in treasury, leaving 427,668,023 shares carrying voting rights and slightly altering the ownership and voting structure for existing investors.
