Barclays PLC has announced the buyback and cancellation of 3,862,848 of its own shares at a volume weighted average price of 222.6337p, further reducing its issued share capital to 14,632,597,254 ordinary shares. This action is part of a larger share repurchase program initiated on August 5, 2024, which has seen Barclays PLC buy back 89,205,521 shares to date.
