Barclays PLC has recently completed a share buy-back, purchasing 3,838,456 ordinary shares for cancellation, which will reduce their issued share capital to 14,591,828,825 with no shares held in Treasury. This move follows a buy-back announcement made on 5 August 2024 and is part of a larger programme that has seen over 131 million shares repurchased to date. Shareholders are advised to use the new share capital figure as the basis for notification obligations.
